This past weekend, Jess and I were able to head up to the mountains and enjoy some turns at Keystone. We were joined by some friends from both out of town and local. While the snowpack is certainly leaving a lot to be desired, we were blessed with some beautiful weather. As someone who self identifies as a total wuss when it comes to the cold, I can’t remember the last time I snowboarded in just a shell and a t-shirt in February but here we are. Hoping for some fresh snow in preparation for our trip to Crested Butte next weekend.

Enough about me and onto the big news.

We’re excited and thrilled to welcome Dr. Katie Sauer PT, DPT to the Tundra Performance and Physical Therapy team!

She's a sports physical therapist originally from the East Coast. Graduating from Syracuse University in 2020 with a BS in Health and Exercise Science. From there she went on to graduate school, receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2024. She’s been a practicing sports physical therapist in Denver since then.

Katie brings a strong background in working with active individuals who want more than just “feeling better” — they want to return to training, skiing, lifting, and exploring Colorado at a high level. Her approach aligns seamlessly with what we value most at Tundra — understanding the specific demands of your sport and building a clear, intentional plan to get you back to what you care about.

Katie is especially passionate about ACL rehab, high level sports medicine, and orthopedic rehab and we’re excited for you to experience her energy, knowledge, and dedication firsthand.

If you see her around the clinic, make sure to say hello. And if you’ve been waiting to get started, now’s the time.

To big mountains and big lifts!
