Description:

We’re looking for a Sports Medicine and Performance Physical Therapist at Tundra Performance and Physical Therapy that will be committed to providing superior outcomes and patient experience to our athletes. A physical therapist that demonstrates continued dedication to learning and growth in their leadership, interpersonal, and clinical skill sets while employed at Tundra Performance.

  • Tundra Performance and Physical Therapy is a Colorado physical therapy and sports medicine performance clinic, focused and committed to providing superior outcomes and patient experience. We specialize in the rehabilitation and care of outdoor and hybrid weightlifting athletes. Individualized 1-on-1 sessions to return our athletes to the activities they enjoy.

  • The name originated from a deep connection with the outdoors and sometimes unforgiving environments that our mountain activities and weight lifting arenas offer. Tundra Performance and Physical Therapy wanted to be able to meet athletes where they were at on not only a physical level but emotional one comparable to the mountain environments where we live and play. Relating to our athletes on a deeper connection of empathy of what it means to not be able to participate at the levels we want, in the activities we enjoy on the mountain. Tundra Performance and Physical Therapy set out to not only rehabilitate the athletes that encounter these places but better prepare them for what’s ahead. Creating resilience within our athletes so that they not only return to the mountain arena but also experience their environments at a higher level.

Expectations

  • Able manage and take ownership of a full caseload and schedule

  • Participation in educational community workshops and weekend sponsorship events

  • Occasional participation with social media content and subject matter

Requirements

  • Doctorate of Physical Therapy

  • Current PT license in Colorado

  • 2+ years experience preferred, or highly motivated new graduate who is ready to engage, learn and grow quickly

  • Speciality certifications in strength and conditioning and others are a positive, but not required
